[Lil' Status Update #3] A successful first appointment!

Hello my loves,

Just a quick update about today's appointment, which was a discussion with my GP about what's going to happen next. It was pretty much as I expected! GPs are generalists rather than specialists after all so it wasn't particularly anything in-depth. I've been given an appointment with a psychologist next week and my GP has encouraged me to really tell them what's going on, as I haven't really shared much of my issues around my eating with previous psychiatrists and therapists. 

My last weigh in (which I stupidly asked to see) from an appointment a few weeks ago currently has me at the lower end of a healthy BMI right now, so there is no major alarm in terms of getting immediate care, however my poor health and fatigue was a slight cause for concern, so I will be getting some bloods done soon-ish. 

I think overall I'm feeling pretty optimistic, but they aren't kidding when they say it gets better before it gets worse. Since seeing my weight a couple weeks ago I've entered a major period of anxiety and restriction, as I was NOT happy with how much I'd gained, but I guess I've only got myself to blame for asking what it was lol. 

All in all things feel pretty good, even if my eating isn't the best right now. I'm proud of the meals that I do manage and love sharing any yummy dishes to my instagram (@caitndaly). Onwards and upwards I guess! I'll be sure to update my blog with the results of that psychologist appointment soon :)
